It is just one day after a devil named Tarkasur was killed by Goddess Durga while she was chasing Mahishsura. Goddess Durga entered Parvati and killed Tarakasur to free the Earth of someone who could take the form of a devil and hides behind innocent beings to disturb their habitat.
